Louis V. Ruffino, P.E. 

Louis has been conceiving, developing, innovating, engineering and demonstrating successful products in embedded digital systems throughout his career.

He has been a director of technical laboratories at IBM, MITRETEK, and Lincoln Laboratories, and is a practicing consultant in Raspberry Pi, Intel Edison applications, and 3D printing.

Eiki Martinson

Eiki (pronounced “Ache-y”) is a mechanical and electrical engineer with experience in hardware design and software development, a history of successful interdisciplinary projects, and a passion for getting the details just right. Eiki has over 10 years experience in industrial design, product development, prototyping and fabrication, computer aided design, laser cutting and engraving, and 3D printing.

Ali Solomon

Ali is a highly qualified middle school math teacher at Imagine Chancellor Charter School in Boynton Beach, embarking on her twentieth year in the classroom. Prior to moving to South Florida, Ali had the good fortune to work with incredible educators and students in the metro NYC-area, including Nativity Mission Center, Marymount Manhattan College, Xavier High School, Bloomfield High School, Mount Saint Dominic Academy, West Orange High School, Millburn High School, New Providence High School, Chatham Day School, and Hudson Catholic High School. In addition to degrees in mathematics and education from Saint Peter’s University, Ali is a certified adult and children’s yoga instructor, and a certified grant specialist. Ali continues to be most content in the classroom and passionate about providing enduring, meaningful, lessons for her students.


Tanya Avrith

Tanya is the Lead Pedagogical Consultant at Amplified IT, living in South Florida. She is a Google Certified Innovator, Apple Distinguished Educator, and holds a M.A. in Educational Technology. She previously served as the Lead Educational Technology and Digital Citizenship Teacher at the Lester B. Pearson School Board in Montreal, Canada. While there, she was instrumental in the vision and execution of the district wide Digital Citizenship Program ( which led to an invitation from Facebook to discuss Digital Citizenship Education. Tanya works with educators, students, and parents addressing strategies for learning how to harness the power of social media. She also helps plan and execute large scale deployments and professional development plans for Digital Citizenship, iPad, and Chromebook initiatives.
